Abstract

The term "comparative literature" is a controversial term given its weakness of expected evidence. This term was criticized by researchers who eventually continued to use it due to the prevalence of usage. In any case, by this lack of precision in the term, comparative literature has the capacity to absorb new fields of knowledge.
