تتناول هذه الدراسة تجليات العبثية السيزيفية في رواية غابرييل غارسيا ماركيز "مئة عام من العزلة" (1970)، مستندةً إلى فلسفة ألبير كامو في كتابه "أسطورة سيزيف" (1942/197). تُبين الدراسة كيف تُجسد الرواية مفاهيم كامو الأساسية: المواجهة بين الإنسان والكون، والانتحار الفلسفي والجسدي، والتمرد العبثي. ومن خلال تحليل الشخصيات الرئيسية، تُوضح الدراسة أن التكرار في الرواية ليس مجرد أداة سردية، بل رؤية فلسفية للوجود؛ إذ تُصبح حياة عائلة بوينديا حلقةً لا تنتهي من الأسماء والمآسي المتكررة، مُجسدةً أسطورة سيزيف. وتخلص الدراسة إلى أن ماركيز يُقدم رؤيةً عميقة: فالبشر محكوم عليهم بتكرار أفعالهم، لكن الحرية تكمن في كيفية مواجهتهم لهذا المصير؛ فالوعي بالعبثية هو في حد ذاته شكل من أشكال التمرد، والسعادة ممكنة رغم هذا الوعي، بل وبفضله.
