الملخص

هدف البحث الحالي الى تعرف استمرارية هوية المكان والرضا عن الحياة لدى سكان العشوائيات، فضلا عن تعرف العلاقة الارتباطية بين استمرارية هوية المكان والرضا عن الحياة. وقد اقتصر البحث الحالي على عينة بلغت (480) مواطن ومواطنة من سكنة المناطق العشوائية في مركز محافظة واسط للعام (2025). ولتحقيق اهداف البحث استعمل الباحثان مقياس استمرارية هوية المكان الذي اعده بو Bowe (2012) والمتكون من (22) فقرة، ومقياس الرضا عن الحياة الذي اعده منشد، وجبر (2015) والمتكون من (20) فقرة. وبعد التحقق من صدق وثبات المقياسين تم تطبيقهما على عينة البحث، وعبر استعمال البرنامج الاحصائي (SPSS) توصل الباحثان الى النتائج الاتية:- وجود استمرارية هوية المكان لدى افراد عينة البحث، وعدم وجود رضا عن الحياة، فضلا عن وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة بين استمرارية هوية المكان والرضا عن الحياة، وقد تم وضع عددا من التوصيات والمقترحات في ضوء النتائج التي توصل اليها البحث الحالي.
