لقد هيأت متون التراث الديني الخاصة باجتهادات فهم النصوص المقدسة ، وتأويلاتها المختلفة الموجهات الثقافية اللازمة لحماسة الرجل المتدّين في سحق من يجزم أنهم أعداء الله ؛ الأمر الذي حفز عددا من الروايات العربية ، ولاسيما روايات البحث على مواجهة هذه المشكلة الشائكة التي فرضت نفسها وبقوة في واقعنا المعيش ؛ ومن هنا سيسعى هذا البحث الموسوم بـ(تمثلات العنف الديني في الرواية العربية- روايات البوكر القائمة القصيرة 2018 أنموذجا ) الى الوقوف على تمثلات العنف الديني في تلك الروايات ، وبيان مدى إسهامها في الحد من آثار تلك الممارسات على المستويات كافة .
