The dialectic of personal dimensions and patterns in Ali Awad's narrative discourse

This research attempts to clarify the effectiveness of character in the works of Ali Awad Abdullah. Character is the central axis of the narrative process, making the art authentic and unique. Characters are created by the writer and perform an important narrative function in novels and stories. Characters interact with other elements, and this interaction occurs with events, time, and place. The subject of character requires careful scientific study. In writing his novel, the writer always strives to select appropriate character models that fit the world of the novel so that they can assume their narrative role. The characters chosen by the novelist resemble real human beings. In the novel "Shatanal-Ramad," the characters clearly emerge as real-life events, inspired by our own reality. They also possess great precision and detail, thus forming a central focus of the narrative world. The writer is creative in drawing these fictional characters in his imagination.
