The Effectiveness of School Theater and its Impact on Education in Iraqi Schools

The research aims to evaluate theatrical activities in schools and contribute to and improve the educational reality at the level of developed countries. To know and reveal the obstacles that schools suffer from in theatrical activities and try to overcome them and stand on them، the research community includes spatially the products of school theater، and exclusively in some schools affiliated to the Karkh Education Directorate/2، in which there is school theatrical activity. Within the time (2018-2019)، the researcher distributed some questionnaires، the number of which reached (30) questionnaires. They were distributed to some schools and some specialists and supervisors، and the researcher drew several conclusions، including The sports lesson in school have a common relationship and theatrical activity for providing students with physical culture to discover weaknesses and negatives and monitor them to control the student’s movement as he performs his role، and there is a close link between practical experience and the development of school theater activity to create theater performances characterized by creativity، because one of the theater’s tasks is to create an advanced educational reality، school theater activity seeks to invest many of the energies and talents of the students to invest in the classroom or school more broadly to make the educational process more vibrant and the continuous search for what is renewed and developed
The researcher recommended several recommendations، including the establishment of a school theater in each region that adopts theatrical activities and events carried out by schools within the administrative region، and the presence of a teacher specialized in theatrical activities who is responsible for the education and training of students.
