Objectification according to the Frankfurt School (Horkheimer and Adorno as a model)

The philosophers of the Frankfurt Critical School worked to criticize objectification and liberate man from the objectification practiced on man by capitalist societies, under which man was transformed into inanimate objects that could be traded. Man became like commodities and consumer goods, as man became bound by the restrictions of technology and the instrumental mind that controlled man’s consciousness and life. everyday life and make it more like a machine, as the Frankfurt philosophers, including Horkheimer, tried to liberate the human mind from reification, which made everything in nature capable of reproduction and consumption. Therefore, this research came to show the Frankfurt School’s criticism of reification in light of the dominance of commodities and the falsification of human consciousness, and to present Horkheimer’s critical theory, which tried In which man is liberated through enlightenment reason.
