Moral values ​​in the digital age(Philosophical and social study)

Abstract

This study addresses an important and vital topic, which is moral values in the digital age. In every political transformation or event, or viral epidemic, the first thing affected by change in societies is morality, as the influence is reflected in people's behavior and interactions, negatively or positively. The human condition in every age requires a reconsideration of the concepts of values, as they are linked to the value of things. Supreme values reap the fruits of their meanings from material values, unlike morality as a concept, which derives its roots from the environment of society, its culture, customs, and religion. Whereas the nature of human ethics used to depend on the culture of the place, the society with its closed environment, now in our digital age, time has become the controller of our moral inclinations and dealings. Therefore, we find that the digital divide is an existential and philosophical divide before it is an ethical and social one. For this purpose, we have adopted a philosophical and social perspective to understand the moral and value transformations in the digital age.
