Learning theories are diverse and varied, with experiential learning theory being one among many. Psychologists have differing views, some supporting this theory while others advocate alternative approaches. One of the most prominent schools of learning theory is the behavioral school, which posits that learning is a change in the learner’s external behavior, occurring through the formation of associations between external environmental stimuli and individual responses. This study is an initiative aimed at presenting a conceptual framework for the idea of experiential learning as a modern approach to developing individual, group, and organizational performance. It also seeks to propose a model for promoting the culture of experiential learning as an approach to enhancing performance in teaching artistic design. The study discusses the concept of experiential learning and reviews several theories related to its application, particularly in the context of artistic design education. the study concludes by offering a set of lessons learned from various experiences and research, emphasizing key findings. Among these is that experiential learning represents one of the most important developmental approaches used by contemporary organizations to face challenges, solve complex problems, develop individual skills, and manage knowledge within organizational members and departments. The results also indicate that experiential learning has been widely applied in teaching artistic design to achieve strategic objectives, confront challenges, and perform various functions.
