Features of textual referral in the books of the exaltation of the prophets until the end of the seventh century AH

The Books of the Exaltation of the Prophets are a rich heritage of mature linguistic thought that is suitable to be applied examples for contemporary studies, especially textual studies. Hence this research (features of textual referral in the books of the Exaltation of the Prophets until the end of the seventh century AH) and we focused on the referral because of its clear impact on Explaining the coherence of the Quranic text and restricting us to the seventh century so that the applied field does not take us
to a wider range than the limits of the study.
Hence, the study focused on what was written by Al-Sharif Al-Murtada (d. 436 AH), Al-Fakhr Al-Razi (d. 606 AH), and Ibn Khumayr (d. 614 AH). This is because they looked at the Qur’anic text in a manner similar to what we find among those working in textual science. Thus, all kinds of referral appeared: textual, with both types: a priori and a posteriori. Likewise, referral appeared. Maqāmīyah. Reference was used effectively by the ancients in order to clarify the meaning and reveal the purpose.
