In this research, we discuss one of the distinguished poets in the poetic scene in Maysan Governorate, the creative poet "Raad Zamil", through a semiotic study, interpreting the linguistic and non-linguistic signs of the text, in his poetry collection: "Eclipse of Conscience". The research consists of an introduction, two chapters, and a conclusion. In the introduction, we talked about ambiguity and clarity, due to the clarity of Zamel's poetry, unlike modern poets, who is keen to communicate with the other through his mediation. We also talked briefly about semioticity. As for the first chapter, we deal with some of the signs that we found in the texts of Zamel, which constituted an objective equivalent in the way similar to metaphor and puns that talk about something close, but they aim at the far, through a metaphorical practice betting on the reader's acumen, intelligence, and ability to reveal. As for the second chapter, that sense has deepened by the conflict between the mass of clay and the mass of coal, the despair that gripped the poet as a result of that conflict that always ends with the defeat of the hero, with his ashes scattered in the air. As for the conclusion, it included the most important result, which is that Raad Zamil is a pessimistic poet, for him, there is no space for hope or aspiration for the future.
