Social glimpses from the life of Sheikh Baqir Sharif Al-Qurashi 1927-2012

Abstract

Sheikh Baqir Sharif Al-Qurashi is one of a group of Islamic scholars and thinkers who take after their leading position in the consciousness of the present generation, and perhaps the reason for this is due to what the Islamic or Iraqi mentality is accustomed to - so to speak - which is not to celebrate the living until they die! And perhaps not focusing and paying attention to them until decades have passed since their death.

Sheikh Baqir Sharif Al-Qurashi began his scientific life and his intellectual and cultural giving in the second half of the twentieth century. After his death in 2012, he left dozens of books that composed a multi-dimensional library in various forms of Islamic culture, including jurisprudence, theological, philosophical and historical studies and the translations of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him). As well as investigation and Quranic studies.

Therefore, we find it useful here to shed light on the life of Sheikh Baqir Sharif Al-Qurashi and present some social situations in his life, most of which he spent between studying, reading and writing.
