The research, tagged with seeks to know the nature of the relationship that binds literary texts to each other. Historical facts and events, and to identify the concept of intertextuality and its manifestations in the novel (Lovers, Phonographs, and Times), based on a set of sources and references related to the subject of the research.The study reached several results, including that the textual overlap is the fate of every text, and every text of course overlapping textually with some previous or simultaneous texts. studying that the textual overlap is at different levels and that it is a technique that cannot be neglected.
