The Role of Practice Culture in Knowledge Management for Faculty at Sumer University: An Analytical Study

The study aims to identify the role of organizational culture at Sumer University and knowledge management practices from the perspective of faculty members. The researcher used the descriptive-analytical approach in this study due to its suitability. The researcher relied on a questionnaire as the primary tool for data collection. This questionnaire was administered to a sample of (60) faculty members at Sumer University. The sample was randomly selected electronically via Google Drive via a link distributed to the study sample.
The study reached the following results:
- The level of knowledge management at Sumer University, as perceived by faculty members, was low, with an arithmetic mean of (1.53) and a standard deviation of (0.63). This indicates weak knowledge management practices at the university.
- The prevailing organizational culture at Sumer University, as perceived by faculty members, was average, as evidenced by the overall arithmetic mean of (1.64) and a standard deviation of (0.72).
