The Jewish community of Samaritans

Abstract:
Most of the information about Samaritans received from sources hostile to them, especially recorded in the Old Testament, such as the Book of Nehemiah, Ezra, Maccabeus, and others. Josephus also refers to them quite hostile. The texts of Samaritan about themselves are late such as CHRONICA II, III, Jesus, Šlšh, and sixth Abū al-Fatḥ, which written in Arabic. That Samaritan belief is oriented Jewish intersects sometimes with some of what is contained in the Old Testament and varies with the rabbis in many things, for example, Samaritans do not recognize only five books of Moses, and also practiced Samaritan worship at Mount Gerizim (Tel al-rass), and provide pregnancy such as sacrifice. In Easter, in addition to that, they have a calendar, and they have religious rituals, but not believe the Talmud, and through this study we try to explain briefly the most prominent characteristics of that ancient community entrenched in history.
