Social transformations in Iraq and their repercussions on the tendencies of secondary school students

The interest in the subject of social and cultural transformations is due to the fact that they affect the lives of individuals in general and students and their relationship, behaviors, attitudes and tendencies in particular and the importance of this group in society as they represent the human wealth that will take upon itself the construction and development of society in the future, and that this group is the most affected and responsive to social and cultural transformations due to the age stage they are going through, so our study started from the main question, which is(What is the reflection of social and cultural transformations on the attitudes and tendencies of students studying in secondary schools affiliated to the Ministry of Education representation in Erbil?)
A number of questions emerged from this question, including:
- Have these shifts had repercussions on students' attitudes and tendencies towards educational achievement?
- Did these transformations play a role in students' tendencies towards social integration?
- Have these shifts affected students' attitudes and tendencies towards moral and religious obligations?
- Have modern means of communication negatively or positively affected the attitudes and tendencies of students?
While the study targeted:
(1) Identify the most important social and cultural transformations that have occurred in Iraqi society and the extent of their reflection on the attitudes and tendencies of secondary school students affiliated to the representation of the Ministry of Education in Erbil.
(2) Provide an intellectual and theoretical framework on the concept of social and cultural transformations.
(3) Identify the extent to which modern technologies affect the students' scientific level and their attitudes and tendencies.
