Abstract

The concept of pluralism constitutes an important focus in contemporary intellectual and philosophical studies, and as much as this concept enjoys great importance in the processes of dealing with reality in its various manifestations, it is not without danger, as there is a great difference in these manifestations that reaches the limit of total disparity, which can be To transform this concept from a positive thing that aims to preserve society from dispersal in the crowd of trends, to a negative thing that destroys the fabric of life.

Thus, it is necessary to discuss the limits and extents of this attractive concept. Is it possible to accept all ideas, and accept the various orientations and doctrines, under the pretext of pluralism? Does pluralism indicate the truthfulness of all trends, no matter how contradictory they are? Or is there an absolute right that makes everything that corresponds to it purely false? Which brings research into the relativity of truth or not.

Here, it is necessary to examine structurally the cognitive foundations on which pluralism is based. There are philosophical foundations related to the nature of the relationship between reality and perception, as well as the possibility of justifying all ideas according to benefits, as in several philosophies, and there are mystical foundations stemming from the unity of tasteful witnesses that lead To the unity of existence, so the reality of many becomes one in its reality, and the difference is nothing but an illusion of deception, so there is no difference between one thought and another.

Also, there are ethical foundations that stem from the search for how to prove the good and the ugly of actions, and according to what criterion this is done, are they real or legal matters? Can it be changed? Or is it always stable? In addition, there are legislative foundations, related to the nature of dealing with the different other.

The important thing is to reach the knowledge of the limits of pluralism, and to root it cognitively and philosophically. The cultural systems that opened the doors of this concept pushed to accommodate the multiple other without condition or restriction; The price is high, for here is homosexuality, for example, but not limited to. Western societies are eating away at an official recognition based on the right to pluralism, and in front of the wise cries of them to save their societies from this deadly disease
