Metaphor and The simile
Metaphor is one of the important rhetorical techniques used by orator to achieve arguments' goals. The metaphor is very important to describe things and the world can only be perceived through its role that is similar to the senses. While the simile connects two images so that the orator clarifies his arguments to convince the recipient and influence him. Therefore, the research dealt with rhetorical techniques included (the Controversial metaphor and simile) sermons of the Supreme Religious authority (Marjia) in 2017, and the research reached many important conclusions, then the researcher had written down references that the study depended on them .
