Abstract

The article deals with the issue of the texts of Russian literature, which must be used in class with foreign students, the ability to choose the right texts for the Arab audience. Reading the texts of Russian classics helps to better understand the culture and mentality of the Russian   people. Thus, the work with the artistic text is complex and painstaking, where you should take into account all the language features and abilities of students, selecting texts individually for each audience. The level of speech culture in each person is different, the task of the teacher is not only to teach to speak and write, but also to think, to express their thoughts not «as everyone says», but correctly, respecting the norms of Russian literary speech.
