Abstract

The tobcco control dbpartment is one of the most important economic management institions in Iraq . Its function is to improve and regulate the cultivations , trade and manufacture of the tobacco crop, especially as it is one of the main cash crops ,an important economic resource .Thousands of families in the northern regions,which are famous for its cultivation , the administration is an economic project  that represents the full monopoly of tobacco grown in the country . Its cultivation, trade and industry have been subject to the requirement of obtaining the license. The administration became independent in its administrative and financial affairs in 1952 and achieved financial revenues for the treasury of the Iraqi state .the first topic: the first beginnings ofregulating the cultivation ,trade and manufacture of tobacco until 1958. The second topic dealt with the internal organization and the mechanism 0f the work 0f the administration under law N0 . 54 0f 1952 and its amendments in 1959.The third topic focused on the achievements of administrative management of tobacco Agriultre and trade up to 1963.
